The Japanese 12U Rubber Championship got started in Tokyo
In the 32nd Edition of the Tournament 51 Teams will compete for Prince Takamado’s Cup

51 winners from preliminaries by 15,000 junior teams with 300,000 players throughout Japan assembled for the opening ceremony at Meiji Jingu stadium in Tokyo on August 12 and started the 5-day Championship on August 13.
Owing to conflicting schedules between this Championship and the 10th Asian 12U Championship, using IBAF approved Kenko World Ball (KWB-B), the Japan Rubber Baseball Association selected a competitive team from 3/11 disaster stricken Kamaishi, Iwate Prefecture to represent Japan at the BFA Championship in Chengdu, China from August 17. 8 Teams from China, Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Chinese Taipei, Korea, Philippines and Pakistan will participate in the tournament.
